Textile arts presented in this catalog are made with many different techniques, that I freely mix in my creative process. Among them are application, embroidery and also classic weaving techniques, basing on weft and warp threads, like for example tapestry technique. By weaving various types of threads (wool, silk, synthetic fiber, etc.) and by using many kinds of tangle, we can obtain an endless variety of matter and patterns, which gives each piece of textile art a unique character. In my work, I also use materials other than a thread, untypical for the classic techniques, like for example leather, or cardboard. With those I attempt to bring new structures to life. In my portfolio dominate large-format works, dedicated mostly to representative places – for home, office and exhibition spaces – with contemplative function. They will perfectly adapt in wide spaces of the living room, bedroom, or dining room. Textile art can be designed to underline the existing character of the interior, or it can create the mood, that you wish for – it depends only on your needs and imagination. This kind of matter that textile art represents provides the feeling of warmth and coziness for the interior, and also improves acoustic conditions, especially by reducing an echo. The individually chosen suspension system, depending on a size, span and weight of my works, makes them easier to install and display.
